MATCH REPORT

2014年トップリーグ第１ラウンド最後の試合は、東京ゴアナーズと、新入生を多く加えた駒澤マグパイズとの間で行われた。

第１クォーターは、若いマグパイズが、早い出足でボールを奪い、スカラーシップ生の吉田へ配給する。ゴール前での決定力に欠け、９ビハインドを積み上げるものの、クォーターのほとんどの時間滞を攻撃に割き、ゴアナーズに反撃のすき与えなかった。

しかしながら、第２Ｑに入ると、エンジンのかかりだしたゴアナーズが持ち前の決定力を生かし、駒澤ディフェンスの僅かなミスから、G.JonesやL.Eyes、A.Hyunh等のゴールで反撃し、ハーフタイム時点で２点差に詰め寄る。

第３Q、風のアドバンテージを生かし、マグパイズが攻勢にでるものの、佐藤健の見事なセットショットと、一年生の鳥巣のゴール以外は、再びゴール前での正確性を欠き、大きくリードを保てない。

第４Qに入ると、終日リードを許していたゴアナーズが、ベテランのT.Wilsonのゴールも飛び出し、一気に５ゴールを挙げ逆転する。

結局、終始ゲームを支配したはずのマグパイズを１５点差で下し、今季初勝利を収めた。

The last game of Round 1 in Top League 2014, Goannas vs Magpies, which got many new students players, was held.

In the first quarter, Magpies, younger players, got the ball quickly and they distribute it to Yoshida who is a scholarship student of 2014. Even though they estimated six behinds because of lack of decision power in front of a goal, they did not leave nothing for Goannas to counter because they use nearly full time of the quarter to offend.

In the second quarter, however, Goannas shortened their points by only two points with goals by G. Jones, L. Eyes, A. Hyunh and such at the half time because they was so enthusiastic. They got chances to show their innate decision power and they got them from small mistakes of Magpies’ defense.

In the third quarter, Magpies stepped forward thanks to advantage of a wind, but they could not keep the lead from Goannas because of luck of precision in front of the goal except excellent set-shot by Ken Sato and the goal by Tosu, first grade student.

In the fourth quarter, Goannas, who have let Magpies be in the lead all day, reversed with five goals at one go such as the goal by veteran player, T. Wilson.

Finally, Goannas got the first win of this year by beating Magpies, who had controlled this game throughout.
